स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार ने अपने आदेश संख्या No.A.450 12/03/2017-CHS.V दिनांक 30 अगस्त 2017 के तहत् लोक स्वास्थ्य सेवा के सभी पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट अधिकारियों को मिलने वाले पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट अलाउन्स की दर में 50 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोत्तरी करते हुए 2250 प्रतिमाह की दर निर्धारित किया। साथ ही यह भी आदेश पारित किया कि जैसे ही महंगाई भत्ता 50 प्रतिशत की दर को पार करेगा, उक्त दर में स्वत: 25 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोत्तरी हो जाएगी।

Consequent upon implementation of 7th Pay Commission Orders, Maj Generals promoted after 01/01/2016 are drawing more pay than the officers in the same Corps, who were promoted as Maj Generals prior to 01/01/2016. Hence stepping up of pay of Maj Generals promoted prior to 01/01/2016 has been carried out, at par with the pay from the date of promotion of Maj General of that Corps, promoted after 01/01/2016 based on seniority list received from ADGPS . Subsequent increments have been granted thereafter and the pay also revised on promotion to the rank of Lt General, wherever applicable.

The same shall be announced in the National Anomaly Committee due on 9th of October.
